Zero-Spam. Zero tolerance.
For Hosting is a white-hat network. We do not host spammers, and we are not a friendly place for them. If your business depends on unsolicited bulk messaging or anything that harms other networks, people or organizations — this is not the host for you.
1. Our stance
We protect the reputation of our network, our IP space and our legitimate customers above short-term revenue. A single spammer can get address ranges blocklisted and hurt the email deliverability and reputation of everyone else on the network. We don't accept that trade. Our policy is simple: zero spam, zero tolerance.
2. How we define spam
To avoid any ambiguity, we adopt an external, industry-standard definition: spam is anything that Spamhaus classifies as spam or abuse. If activity originating from, hosted on, or promoted through your account would trigger a Spamhaus listing (SBL, XBL, PBL, DBL, or equivalent), it is prohibited here — whether or not the messages themselves are sent from our servers.
3. Strictly prohibited
- Unsolicited bulk or commercial email (UBE/UCE), in any volume.
- "Snowshoe" spam, list washing, or spreading load across many accounts or IPs to evade filters.
- Spamvertising: hosting websites, landing pages or resources that are advertised via spam sent from anywhere, even off our network.
- Harvesting, buying or using non-consented mailing lists.
- Phishing, malware, botnet command-and-control, open relays/proxies, and any attack on third-party networks, people or organizations.
- Forged headers, hijacked IP space, or evasion of blocklists.
4. Enforcement
Confirmed spam or abuse results in immediate suspension or termination without refund. We preserve evidence, cooperate with Spamhaus and other reputation authorities, and report unlawful activity to the competent authorities. There is no "first strike" grace for deliberate spam operations.
5. Why this protects you
Because we run a clean network — including dedicated IPs on our Multidomain product — your mail is more likely to reach inboxes and your sites keep a trusted reputation. Our strictness is a feature for real businesses.
6. Who we welcome
Legitimate businesses, agencies, developers and projects that respect anti-spam standards and treat other networks with respect. If that's you, you're in the right place.
7. Report abuse
Seen something? Report it to abuse@forhosting.com. This policy complements our Acceptable Use Policy and Terms & Conditions.
